By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of his tribe claim pertaining to "Mannervarlu" Scheduled Tribe, which has been pending with respondent No. 2 since 16/03/2022. During the pendency of the said tribe claim, the employer of the petitioner, by notice dated 13/02/2016, called upon him to submit a validity certificate, failing which his services would be brought to an end.

In view of the above, we direct respondent No. 2 - Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner within a period of six months from today. Till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided, the employer shall not take any coercive action against the petitioner solely on the ground that his tribe claim is pending.

Needless to state, the protection granted by this Court shall operate only till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided and the petitioner shall not claim any equities on the basis of this order. 5.
