The petitioner raises limited grievance in this petition that although his application is filed under Section 5(2) of Mamlatdar's Courts Act before Competent Authority i.e. Tahsildar, Newasa vide Rasta Case No.91/2025, same is kept pending at the stage of issuance of notice to respondents.

Mr. Jayabhar, learned Advocate appearing for petitioner invites attention of this Court to Government Resolution No.tfeu&2025@iz-dz-&47@t&1v dated 22.05.2025 issued by Revenue and Forest Department, State of Maharashtra, which contemplates that any proceeding initiated under Section 143 Maharashtra Land Revenue Code or Section 5 of Mamlatdar's Courts Act shall be expeditiously decided and disposed of within 90 days period from date of presentation of application.

In light of submissions advanced, it is expected that respondent no.2 shall endeavour to decide pending proceeding expeditiously and in any case within period of three months as contemplated under Government Resolution dated 22.05.2025. 4.
