The petitioner is seeking expeditious disposal of his tribe claim of belongs to " Koli Malhar" Scheduled Tribe, which is pending with respondent No.2/ Scrutiny Committee since 13.01.2022.

During the pendency of the said tribe claim, the employer of the petitioner has issued show cause notice to the petitioner on 02.12.2025 calling upon the petitioner to submit the validity certificate, failing which the service of the petitioner would be brought to an end.

In that view of the matter, we direct respondent No.2/ Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from today.

Till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided, the employer/s of the petitioner shall not take any adverse action against the petitioner, solely on the ground of non- submission of validity certificate.

We make it clear that the protection granted by this Court will operate only till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided.

Petitioner shall not claim any equity.

With these directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
