The learned Additional Government Pleader makes a statement and places on record a copy of the order dated 18.03.2026 passed by the Coordinate Bench at the Principal Seat, Mumbai, wherein a statement of learned AGP therein has been recorded that the matters transferred from the various Benches have reached at Mumbai and are in the process of being re-numbered. The Registry has been directed to list the matters which were before the Hon'ble Bench on 18.03.2026 along with the transferred matters.

The learned Additional Government Pleader further places on record the directions issued by the Hon'ble the Chief Justice on the praecipe dated 05.03.2026, whereby it has been directed that the Writ Petitions mentioned in Group 'B', Group 'C' and Group 'D' pending at

2 941WP2288.2026.odt Aurangabad, Nagpur and Kolhapur Benches respectively be clubbed with the Writ Petitions mentioned in Group 'A' pending at the Principal Seat at Mumbai and be placed before the Hon'ble Court taking up Civil Writ Petition No. 834 of 2026 and connected matters at the Principal Seat at Mumbai.

It is further directed by the Hon'ble the Chief Justice that all Writ Petitions involving the same subject matter, including those to be filed in future at the Principal Seat as well as at the Benches at Aurangabad, Nagpur and Kolhapur, shall be transferred and/or clubbed with Civil Writ Petition No. 834 of 2026 and connected matters and be placed before the Hon'ble Court at the Principal Seat at Mumbai. 4.

In view of the aforesaid directions issued by the Hon'ble the Chief Justice, the Registry is directed to take necessary steps for transfer and/or clubbing of the present Petition with Civil Writ Petition No. 834 of 2026 and connected matters at the Principal Seat, Mumbai.
