Learned Advocate for the Petitioner, at the outset, informs that hearing on application under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002, is scheduled tomorrow i.e. 07.06.2026. He further submits that the Petitioner shall file necessary application before the Chief Judicial Magistrate.

This Court, vide order passed in case of Motilal Oswal Home Finance Limited vs. The State of Maharashtra and others (Writ Petition No. 71/2026 decided on 06.01.2026) has already considered the issue pertaining to the pendency of applications under Section 14 of the Act before the competent authority for several months and years without adjudication and issued directions to the competent authority as to how the applications under Section 14 of the Act should be decided and within how much time the adjudication should be completed.

Upon making application by the Petitioner to the competent authority, the application shall be taken up for hearing in accordance with the directions issued by this Court in the above referred order. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
