By order dated 18 February 2026, this Court sought explanation from respondent No.25 as to why appeal under Section 152A of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 has not been decided within the statutory period of ten days. The explanation furnished is in paragraph 7 of the affidavit. 2.

Though the explanation submitted is not acceptable, as and by way of indulgence, it is directed that respondent No.25 shall henceforth adhere to the statutory limits of disposing of appeal, and henceforth he shall ensure that such statutory appeals are decided within the period prescribed by the statute. 3.

Since the appeal has been decided, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
