Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners. WRIT PETITION NO. 2536 OF 2026 2.

The challenge in this petition is to an order dated 19th January, 2026, passed by the Apex Grievance Redressal Committee in Appeal No. 252/2025 whereby the appeal preferred by the petitioners against an order passed under Sections 33 and 38 of the Maharashtra Slum Areas SAINATH, PA 1/2

12 WP 2536-26.DOC (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971, was dismissed.

Mr. Patil, the learned Counsel for the petitioners, on instructions submits that, the orders of eviction have been implemented. Hence, reserving the right of the petitioners to claim enhanced transit rent, the petitioners do not wish to prosecute this petition.

In view of the aforesaid statement, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn reserving the right of the petitioners to agitate the grievance regarding the enhanced transit rent in accordance with law.

WRIT PETITION NO. 2992 OF 2026 5.

Mr. Sangavikar, the learned Counsel for the petitioners, undertakes to serve the copy of the petition on the respondents. 6.

Let the copy of the petition be served on the respondents within a period of one week.

WP/2860/2026 and WP/2992/2026 be listed on 16th June, 2026.

The respondents in the respective petitions are at liberty to file an affidavit-in-reply.
