The petitioner is seeking expeditious disposal of his tribe claim of belonging to "Koli Mahadev" Scheduled Tribe, which is pending with the respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee since 07.03.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the vigilance cell inquiry has been conducted in respect of the real brother of petitioner and said vigilance cell report is on record and the petitioner is ready to adopt the said vigilance cell report.

In that view of the matter, we direct the respondent No.2/ Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably by the end of June 2026, in accordance with law and on its own merits. 5.
