These Petitions have been filed seeking certain directions in the light of the fact that the Petitioners are admittedly already before the Debt Recovery Tribunal in terms of the statutory remedy available under the provisions of the Securitisation And Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002. varsha

The grievance of the Petitioners appears to be that they are pressing for urgent interim reliefs and that their applications are still pending before the DRT with the next date of listing being 06/04/2026.
3.
It is an admitted position that the securitisation applications pending before the DRT are accompanied with applications for condonation of delay in respect of which the Respondent-secured creditor has raised certain objections for condoning the delay. 4.
The applications for condonation of delay as also pending interim applications shall be decided by the DRT expeditiously. 5.
Since we are informed that the next date of listing is 06/04/2026, when applications for condonation of delay are to be taken up for consideration, we direct the DRT to pass an appropriate order in accordance with law on the said applications and thereupon to proceed expeditiously in the matter.
6.
We have not expressed any opinion of the merits of the rival claims.
7.
The Writ Petitions are disposed of.
