This petition has been filed for directing the Respondents to grant permission to erect/install the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj within the jurisdiction of Nagar Parishad, Georai. 3.

We have directed the learned AGP to take instructions. He submits that in view of Government Resolution dated 02.05.2017, the matter is at Stage No. 3 and he places on record photocopy of letter dated 15.02.2024 given by the Collector, Beed, to the Chief

- 2 - wp2816.26.odt Architect, State Government of Maharashtra, thereby submitting the documents for preparation of plan, material to be used etc. for erecting the statue and he submits that the same is pending with the Chief Architech. The said letter is taken on record by marking Exhibit 'X'.

Learned AGP to take instructions from the Chief Architect by the next date.
