1) Learned AGP raised a preliminary objection and submitted that, against the impugned Order dated 18th February 2026, a Revision under Section 154 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960, is maintainable. He submitted that, Mr. Rajendra Markad, Assistant Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Ambernath, District Thane, has filed an Affidavit dated 4th March 2026, ascertaining the said legal position. 2) In view thereof, learned counsel for Petitioner on instructions seeks leave to withdraw Petition with liberty to avail the said alternate statutory remedy, as provided under the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960.

3) Disposed off as withdrawn with aforesaid liberty. 4) It is made clear that, we have not adjudicated the merits involved in the Petition and it is disposed off only on the preliminary objection raised by the learned AGP, as recorded hereinabove. 5) To enable the Petitioner to prefer Revision before the concerned Authority, the effect and implementation of Order dated 18th February 2026, is stayed for a period of three weeks from today.
