The present petition has been filed for the following reliefs: "(B) By issuance of Writ or Order or direction in the nature of Mandamus Respondent Nos.2 to 5, under the supervision and authority of Respondent No.1 - State of Maharashtra, may be directed to pay the compensation with statutory benefits for the entire land of the Petitioners from the date of award or to initiate and complete land acquisition proceeding in respect of the Petitioners' land affected by submergence due to the Sakat Medium Project and to determine and pay lawful compensation with all statutory benefits within a time-bound period."

However, the learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are restricting their petition for the relief to decide the representations made by them from time to time with Respondent No.2.

In view of the same, the learned AGP, who waves notice for Respondent Nos. 1, 2, 4 and 5, submits that the representations, starting from 30.10.2025, would be decided within a period of 12 weeks from today. In view of the said statement, we dispose of the writ petition by directing Respondent No.2 to decide the representations of the petitioners within a period of 12 weeks from today.
