This petition has been filed for a limited purpose of seeking direction to the respondent Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claims of the petitioners of belonging to "Naikda" Scheduled Tribe, which is pending with the Scrutiny Committee since 16.01.2026.

Considering the fact that both the petitioners are desirous of appearing for NEET-UG Examination-2026, we direct the respondent Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claims of the petitioners as expeditiously as possible and preferably by the end of July 2026.
