Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

At the outset, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to confine this Petition to the relief in regard to expeditious hearing of Court Receiver's Report No.5 of 2023 and file a separate Petition to assail the order dated 24 January 2024 in Chamber Summons No.260 of 2023. 3.

Leave granted with liberty as prayed for.

The Court is informed that the Court in which Court Receiver's Report No.5 of 2023 in Suit No.6985 of 1997 is pending is vacant, and, therefore, the hearing in said Court Receiver's Report could not proceed. 5.

The learned Principal Judge, City Civil Court, is requested to assign Suit No.6985 of 1997 and the proceedings therein, including C.R.Report No.5 of 2023 to a regular Court.

The learned Judge, City Civil Court, to whom the said Suit and the connected proceedings therein would be assigned, is requested to hear and decide Court Receiver's Report No.5 of 2023 and the connected matters, expeditiously.
