By this Writ Petition, the petitioners are seeking expeditious disposal of their tribe claims of belonging to 'Koli Mahadev' Scheduled Tribe which is pending with the respondent No.2/Scrutiny Committee since 27.03.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the vigilance cell enquiry report submitted during the tribe claims of their cousin brothers is already on record and the petitioners are ready to adopt the same.

In the light of that, the respondent/Scrutiny Committee shall make an endeavour to decide the tribe claim of the petitioners as expeditiously as possible and preferably by the end of July 2026.
