DATE : 25th MARCH, 2026.

PER COURT :

1.

Present petition has been filed for issuing directions to Respondent to decide the pending proceeding bearing No. 2022/Pra.Kra.278/j-7a.

2.

Learned AGP waives notice for the Respondent and upon instructions, makes a statement that the Respondent has taken a drive to dispose of the appeals which are pending since 2016 and therefore, it will take some time for deciding the matter of the year 2022. He submits that the appeal would be decided within a period of six months from today.

Here, in absence of data as to how much is the pendency before the Respondent in respect of the appeals, according to us, for proceeding preferred in 2022, four months time would be sufficient and therefore, we dispose of writ petition by directing Respondent to decide the proceeding within a period of four months from today.
