The petitioner's claim of belonging to the 'Koli Mahadev' Scheduled Tribe is stated to have been pending with Respondent No. 2 / Scrutiny Committee since 29/10/2023.

Considering the fact that the petitioner's tribe claim has been pending for almost two and a half years and that she requires her validity certificate for pursuing higher studies, we direct Respondent No. 2 / Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim as expeditiously as possible, preferably by the end of July 2026.

The petitioner shall extend full co-operation in deciding the tribe claim.
