The present petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent-authorities to decide the Proposal submitted by the Petitioner on 30.09.2024 for allotment of government recognized backward class students residential hostel to the petitioner within a stipulated period.

Learned AGP waives notice for Respondent Nos. 1 to 3. Since the matter is pending before Respondent No. 3, the learned AGP, upon instructions, submits that the said Proposal will be decided within a period of eight (8) weeks.

We accept the statement made by the learned AGP as an undertaking to the Court and dispose of the Writ Petition by directing Respondent No. 3 to decide the said Proposal within a period of eight
