By this Writ Petition the petitioner is seeking direction for expeditious disposal of his tribe claim of belonging to 'Koli Mahadev', Scheduled Tribe which is pending with Respondent No.2-Scrutiny Committee since 16.09.2014.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of this Tribe Claim the employer of the petitioner has issued show cause notice calling upon the petitioner to show cause as to why the services of the petitioner should not be terminated for non submission of validity certificate.

In the light of above, we direct Respondent No.2-Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six (6) months from Narwade

951-wp-3289-2026 -2today.

For the next six (6) months the employer of the petitioner shall not take any coercive action against the petitioner solely on the ground of non-submission of validity certificate. 5.

Needless to state that the protection granted by this Court will operate only till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided. The petitioner shall not claim any equity.
