The Writ Petition has been placed today on the Supplementary Board, in view of order dated 6th April 2026, which had directed the Respondent No. 2 - University and Respondent No. 3 - College to file their respective Affidavits by today's date and serve copy to the Petitioner in advance.

Affidavits in Reply on behalf of Respondent No. 2 and Respondent No. 3 dated 7th April 2026 have been filed. In the said Affidavits, it has been stated that the Petitioners are not entitled to appear for examination of the Second Year B.A. LL.B Course, in view of the Petitioners having been declared as failed in the result of revaluation before the Petitions were filed by the Petitioners. The 2/3

provisional admission was accordingly cancelled. The Petitioners will therefore, have to take fresh admission for Second Year B.A. LL.B. for the academic year 2026-27.

The arguments on the issue of 'carry on', which are being heard suo motu by this Bench in the above Writ Petition, shall continue and accordingly, the Writ Petition shall be placed with other Writ Petitions on 16th April 2026 at 3:00 p.m. 4.
