The tribe claim of the petitioner of belonging to "Mannervarlu" Scheduled Tribe is stated to have been pending with the respondent-Scrutiny Committee since 31.07.2013. In fact, this is a second round of litigation that the petitioner is required to approach this Court for the same purpose. In earlier round of litigation this Court, by an order dated 15.02.2022 passed in Writ Petition No. 2161 of 2022 by protecting service of the petitioner, had directed the respondent Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of passing of the order.

Unfortunately, the Scrutiny Committee did not decide the tribe claim of the petitioner. Be that as it may, since for non submission of the validity certificate the service of the petitioner has been brought under supernumerary post, therefore, as last indulgence, we direct the respondent Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of three months from today. Any deviation from the direction issued by this Court, will be treated as an aggravated contempt of the order passed by this Court.
