By this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking direction for expeditious disposal of his tribe claim of belonging to "Naikda" Scheduled pending with the respondent Scrutiny Committee. It seems that the tribe claim of the petitioner has been submitted on 10.01.2026.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already requested the Scrutiny Committee that the petitioner is ready to adopt vigilance cell enquiry report of his cousin uncles.

Since the petitioner is desirous of appearing for MHTCET 2026 examination and needs the validity certificate, we deem it appropriate to direct the respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably by the end of June2026. 5.
