CORAM :
BHARATI DANGRE & MANJUSHA DESHPANDE, JJ DATE : 9th JUNE 2026 P.C. :
We deem it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition without issuing notice to Respondent Nos. 4 to 8 as the Petition seek a limited relief in form of direction to the Divisional Joint Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Mumbai Division i.e. Respondent NO.2 to hear and dispose of Appeal No.A/0121 OF 2025 filed by Respondent Nos.3 to 7 within stipulated period. On hearing the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned AGP representing the Authorities including Divisional Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies before whom the Appeal is pending , we find that there is no extreme urgency in deciding 1/2
6-WP-3753-2026.odt the Appeal and the contention of the counsel for the Petitioner that the stay order has been granted on 20/05/2025 thereby staying the effect and operation of the order dated 08/04/2025 passed by Respondent No.2, is not a ground to hear the Appeal out of way.
We, therefore, direct that the Appeal pending before the Divisional Joint Registrar in form of A/0121 of 2025 shall be decided as per the sequence in which it has been filed and once it is ready and due for hearing, it shall be decided expeditiously. Writ Petition is disposed of in the above said terms. [MANJUSHA DESHPANDE, J.] [BHARATI DANGRE, J.] 2/2
