The tribe claim of the petitioner, belonging to the 'Wani' caste, is stated to have been pending with the respondent-Scrutiny Committee since 11/10/2023. The petitioner, therefore, seeks a direction for the expeditious disposal of the said caste claim 3.

Considering that the petitioner has been elected as a Sarpanch and needs to submit the validity certificate within a stipulated period, we direct the respondent-Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible
