Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner. 2.

The petitioner's entertainment licence to operate an orchestra was suspended by an order dated 05th January, 2026 for a period of 10 days. The petitioner has preferred an appeal against the said order. However, the appeal has yet not been heard by the Appellate Authority.

The Writ Petition stands disposed with a direction to the Respondent No. 2 - Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division to hear and decide the appeal preferred by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and, preferably, within a period of three weeks from 15th April, 2026, on which day the petitioner shall appear before the Respondent No. 2 - Divisional Commissioner either in person or through an Advocate.
