Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner. 2.
The Petitioner is a secured creditor and while the Writ Petition is filed for challenging an order dated 26/09/2024 passed by the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Pune (DRT), whereby parties have been directed to maintain status quo, on instructions, learned counsel for the Petitioner is restricting the relief in the present Petition to a direction to the DRT to expeditiously dispose of an application for vacating the order of status quo filed on behalf of the Petitioner. 3.
It is specifically brought to the notice of this Court that as per the statement made in Paragraph No. 3.17 of the Writ Petition, the pending proceeding before the DRT, Pune has been simply adjourned to various dates between 13/01/2025 to 22/12/2025.

In this backdrop, on 22/12/2025, the Petitioner was constrained to file Interim Application No. 3792 of 2025 for vacating the order of status quo. Hearing on the said application is also being adjourned and now pending proceedings before the DRT along with Interim Application No. 3792 of 2025 are listed on 7th April 2026. 5.
In this backdrop, a fervent plea is made on behalf of the Petitioner for a direction to the DRT to consider and dispose of pending Interim Application No. 3792 of 2025 at the earliest. 6.
We are of the opinion that a direction for expeditious disposal of the pending Interim Application and even the entire proceedings would be in the interest of all the concerned parties and therefore, issuance of notice in this Writ Petition is dispensed with. This is particularly in the light of the limited direction being sought on behalf of the Petitioner.
7.
In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the DRT, Pune to take up the Interim Application No. 3792 of 2025 filed by the Petitioner for vacating the order of status quo in Securitisation Application No. 278 of 2024, for consideration and disposal as expeditiously as possible. In any case, the said application shall be considered and disposed of on or before 30th April 2026. (SHREERAM V. SHIRSAT, J.) (MANISH PITALE, J.) varsha
