This petition has been filed for a limited purpose of seeking direction of expeditious disposal of the petitioners' tribe claim of belonging to 'Koli Mahadev', Scheduled Tribe, which is pending with Respondent No.2-Scrutiny Committee since 10.12.2025. 2.

In view of the fact that petitioner no.1 is desirous of appearing for MH CET-2026 and wishes to pursue higher studies, we direct Respondent No.2-Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioners as expeditiously as possible, and preferably by the end of July 2026.
