Mr. Kharosekar, learned Advocate appearing for Petitioners submit that Petitioners' vehicles i.e. JCB Machine and Tipper have been seized by Authorities and Petitioners have been served with show cause notices dated 20.02.2026 under Section 48(7) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code. The Petitioners have replied show cause notices and submitted affidavits that Petitioners hold valid royalty passes and, therefore, no penalty can be imposed upon them. However, Respondents Authorities neither taken any decision till this date, nor they are in a mood to consider documents submitted by Petitioners. 2.
In that view of matter, issue notice to Respondents, returnable on 30.04.2026. Learned AGPs waives service of notices on behalf of Respondents/State.
