Present writ petition takes exception to the order dated 15th April, 2026 passed by Respondent no.2/Divisional Joint Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Nashik in Revision Application No.A-32 of 2026, thereby rejecting petitioner's

application for stay to the order dated 9th February, 2026 passed by the Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Srirampur, disqualifying petitioner from the post of Director of Respondent No.5-Society.

Heard learned Advocates appearing for respective parties.

The record indicates that Revision Application filed by petitioner under Section 154 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960, assailing disqualification order passed by the Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Shrirampur under Section 73(c) is pending. However, petitioner's application for stay to the disqualification order has been rejected. On 17th April 2026, when this writ petition was heard, while issuing notices to the respondents, ad-interim relief has been granted, thereby the operation, implementation and execution of disqualification order has been stayed. 4.

Mr. Gangakhedkar, learned advocate appearing for respondent No.6 on instructions, submits that, the purpose would be served, if hearing of Revision Application pending before the Divisional Joint Registrar, Nashik, is expedited by continuing interim protection granted in favor of the petitioner.

This Court finds that there is no impediment in following the aforesaid course. Since the matter pertains to disqualification of petitioner from the post of Director of respondent no.5 society, it is desirable that, Revision Application is heard and decided expeditiously. 6.

In result, following order is passed.

O R D E R

i.

The respondent no.2-Divisional Joint Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Nashik Region, Nashik shall endeavor to decide the pending Revision Application A-32 of 2026 filed by petitioner expeditiously, and in any case, within a period of

(3) Three months from the date of this order. ii.

Till then, the interim protection granted by this Court vide order dated 17th April, 2026 shall remain inforce.

iii.

In view of disposal of writ petition, pending civil application stand disposed of.
