The challenge in the present petition arises out of a notice of attachment dated 17 January 2026.

On perusal of the impugned notice, it is evident that the same merely calls upon the petitioner to deposit the amount specified therein. It is made clear that, in the event the respondent Society proceeds to attach the subject property, the petitioner shall be at liberty to avail such remedies as may be permissible in law. 3.

Insofar as the challenge is directed against the notice calling upon the petitioner to deposit the said amount, the present writ petition cannot be entertained.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. (AMIT BORKAR, J.)
