Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioners. 2.

A limited prayer in this petition is to direct the Maintenance Tribunal under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 to pass an order on the application filed by the Petitioner - senior citizen before the Maintenance Tribunal. The copy of the roznama indicates that the proceeding has been closed for orders by the Tribunal on 29th January, 2026.

As the Maintenance Tribunal has already heard the application and closed the same for orders, it would be expedient that, the Maintenance Tribunal passes an appropriate order in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. 1/2

The petition, thus, stands disposed with a direction to the Maintenance Tribunal to pass an appropriate order in accordance with law, on the Application No.SR/167/2025, preferred by the Petitioner - senior citizen as expeditiously as possible and, preferably, within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.
