Present writ petition takes exception to the communication/show cause notice dated 30.03.2026 issued to the petitioner by Sub-Divisional Officer, Partur whereby the penalty is proposed to be imposed on petitioner under Section 48(7) and 48(8) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. The petitioner has already filed a reply to the show cause notice along with certain documents. In that view of the matter, in stead of going into contentions on merit, it would be appropriate if Sub-Divisional Officer decides the notice finally by giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today.
