The present Writ Petition takes exception to order dated 30.03.2026 passed by Additional Divisional Commissioner, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in Grampanchayat Appeal No. 2026/GRAPANI/APPEAL-1/CR-05, whereby Petitioners application for stay to disqualification order passed by learned Additional Collector has been rejected.

Having heard learned Advocates appearing for respective parties, this Court finds that without going into merit of contentions, it would be appropriate to direct learned Divisional Commissioner to expeditiously decide pending appeal and till then protect Petitioners.

In result, Writ Petition stands disposed of with a request to learned Divisional Commissioner, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to decide Appeal pending before him within a period of four weeks from today.

Till then, operation and implementation of order dated 09.01.2026 passed by District Collector, Jalna in Grmapanchayat Dispute C.R. No. 56/2026 shall be kept in abeyance.
