By this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking expeditious disposal of his tribe claim of belonging to "Mannervarlu" Scheduled Tribe, which is pending with the respondentScrutiny Committee since 25.02.2026. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vigilance cell enquiry report submitted in the case of blood relative of the petitioner is already on record and the petitioner is ready to adopt the same.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is desirous of appearing for NEET-UG-2026 Examination and needs validity certificate, we find that it would be appropriate to direct the respondent-Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably by the end of August 2026.
