The petitioner impugns order dated 17.03.2026 passed by respondent no.4/Sub Divisional Officer, Beed in Proceeding No.2026/GK-AV-DK-KAVI under Section 48(7) and 48(8) of Maharashtra Land Revenue Code.

Apparently, petitioner has alternate remedy of filing Appeal against impugned order before Additional Collector. 3.
The learned Advocate appearing for petitioner after arguing for some time seeks permission to withdraw Writ Petition with liberty to avail alternate remedy; however, he has persuaded this Court to grant interim protection.

Considering submissions advanced and record tendered into service, this Court finds it appropriate to grant limited interim protection to petitioner subject to certain conditions.

In that view of matter, petitioner shall be at liberty to file Appeal before Additional Collector within 15 days from today. If petitioner deposits 25% of amount of penalty in terms of impugned order dated 17.03.2026 before Appellate Authority, no coercive steps shall be taken against him till disposal of Appeal. 6.
The Appellate Authority shall decide Appeal on its own merits after giving opportunity of hearing to petitioner within period of one month thereafter.

In result, Writ Petition stands disposed of.
