By this petition, the petitioners seek expeditious disposal of their tribe claims of belonging to the "Thakar" Scheduled Tribe, which, according to them, have been pending since 16/01/2026. This Court in Writ Petition No.2591 of 2026, in the case of petitioners' cousin sister, namely Riya Dattatraya Salunke vs. State of Maharashtra and other vide order dated 10/03/2026, has directed the Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim by the end of June 2026. In that view of the matter, we direct the Respondent/Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claims of the petitioners as well by the end of June 2026.
