By this petition, the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of his tribe claim of belonging to the "Thakur" Scheduled Tribe, which has been pending with Respondent No. 2/Scrutiny Committee since 11/02/2025.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is desirous of appearing for the NEET (UG) Examination, 2026 and requires validity for further education, we direct the Respondent No. 2/Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case, by the end of August 2026.
