Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners.

This Petition prays for the following substantial reliefs:- "b) By way of suitable writ, order or direction in the nature of writ of this Hon'ble Court be pleased to direct the Respondent No.1 City Survey Officer No.5, Nashik Land Record Office, Maharashtra to grant permission for conducting measurement / survey & fixing boundaries of the said properties by conducting the work of the same afresh, upon application made by the Petitioners afresh within the period of 2 weeks from the date of order in the present petition.

32-WP-4682-2026.doc c) By way of suitable writ/order/direction in the nature of writ of this Hon'ble Court, be pleased to direct the Respondent No.2 Commissioner of Police, Special Branch, Nashik City and Respondent No.3, Senior Police Inspector, Upnagar Police Station, Nashik Road to provide appropriate sufficient police protection / police force to the Petitioners for conducting the measurement & fixing of boundaries work by the Respondent No.1 and whilst the construction of compound wall by the Petitioners over the said properties to fence the same thereafter, upon producing the order by the Petitioners which may be passed by the Respondent No.1 for the work as above in terms of prayer clause (b) of the petition".

With the assistance of learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned AGP, we have gone through the facts as pleaded in the Petition. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners would make an application to the Respondent No.1 for the reliefs prayed for in this Petition in terms of prayer clause (b). Needless to mention that if the appropriate application is made to Respondent No.1 - City Survey Officer No.5 - Nashik, Land Record Officer, the same shall be considered in accordance with law expeditiously and in any event, within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of the order. 4.
