Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner.

The Petitioner is the legal heir of the original land holder. The Petitioner by the present Petition seeks a direction to the Respondents to decide the representation dated 6th June 2016 filed by the Petitioner and for direction to allot the land old Gat No.736/2, New Gat No.208/2, area admeasuring 5H, 35R + P.K. 1H, 92R situated at village Sabalewadi, Taluka : Shirur, District : Pune on permanent basis and record the name of the Petitioner in the revenue record as per the provisions of law.

The Petitioner has set out all the details in the Petition which has led to filing the representation dated 6th June 2016. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is ready to pay the occupancy price for regularizing the encroachment in terms of the provisions of Section 51 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 ("MLR Code, 1966") and Rule 43 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue (Disposal of the Government Lands) Rules, 1971 ("MLR Rules, 1971"). There is a report dated 24th April 2017 of the Tahsildar addressed to the Sub-Divisional Officer - Shirur. 4.
In such view of the matter, the Respondent No.2 - Collector, Pune or the competent Authority delegated by him to take the representation dated 6th June 2016 to its logical conclusion in accordance with law, within a period of 6 months from the date of communication of this order.
