The tribe claim of the petitioner of belonging to 'Pardeshi Bhamta' Vimukta Jati (A) is stated to have been pending with the respondent/Scrutiny Committee since 07.01.2025. 3.

Learned AGP submits that tribe claim of the petitioner has been dismissed for default and the petitioner needs to get it restored. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner on the other hand submits that said proceedings have already been restored and there is no hurdle in deciding the same on its own merits.

Be that as it may, if the said tribe claim of the petitioner has been dismissed for default, considering the fact that the petitioner has

2 931.doc removed the deficiencies as were pointed out, we direct the respondent/Scrutiny Committee to restore the said proceedings if not already restored and make an endeavour to decide the same as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from today.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is prosecuting her studies with the respondent No.4 and there is apprehension that the admission of the petitioner would be cancelled. We therefore, direct that till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided, the respondent Nos.3 and 4 shall not disturb the admission of the petitioner.
