We have pronounced a judgment today at 3:00 p.m., in Writ Petition No.2993 of 2026 along with connected Writ Petitions (Ajay Chokha Kate and Ors. v/s. The State of Maharashtra and Ors.).

In the present Petition, the contention of the Petitioners is that those ineligible candidates who have been permitted to appear for the Cluster Head promotion examination, conducted vide the advertisement dated 29th September, 2025, are allowed to participate in the selection process for the post of Cluster Head. Considering the directions issued by this Court in the judgment dated 10th April, 2026 (pronounced today at 3:00 p.m.), the grievance of the Petitioners is redressed. 4.
