The petitioners impugn order dated 17.03.2026 passed by respondent no.4/Sub Divisional Officer, Beed in Proceeding

939 grp.odt (2) No.2026/GK-AV-DK-KAVI under Section 48(7) and 48(8) of Maharashtra Land Revenue Code.

Apparently, petitioners have alternate remedy of filing Appeal against impugned order before Additional Collector. 3.

The learned Advocate appearing for petitioners after arguing for some time seeks permission to withdraw Writ Petitions with liberty to avail alternate remedy; however, persuaded this Court to grant interim protection.

Considering submissions advanced and record tendered into service, this Court finds it appropriate to grant limited interim protection to petitioners subject to certain conditions. 5.

In that view of matter, petitioners shall be at liberty to file Appeal before Additional Collector within 15 days from today. If petitioners deposit 25% of amount of penalty in terms of impugned order dated 17.03.2026 before Appellate Authority, no coercive steps shall be taken against them till disposal of Appeal. 6.

The Appellate Authority shall decide Appeal on its own merits after giving opportunity of hearing to petitioners within period of one month thereafter.

7.

In result, Writ Petitions stand disposed of.
