The petitioner no.1 which is a company registered under the Companies Act, 2013, through its Managing Director, seeks a direction to 2nd respondent-Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) to take a decision on its application for grant of occupancy certificate which was filed on 27th January 2026 in respect of the buildings captioned as A, B, F, G and part of Building - H constructed over piece of land bearing Gat No.1286 (Part), admeasuring 86,824 sq.mtrs. situated at village Wagholi, Taluka Haveli in the district of Pune and being a part of Gera's Planet of Joy.

Mr.Pralhad Paranjpe, the learned counsel for the petitioner refers to Government Resolution dated 2nd April 2026 and submits

PDP 20-WP-5182-2026.doc that the PMRDA is now required to take a decision on the application dated 27th January 2026 in the light of the directions issued under the said Government Resolution.

Mr. Tushar Sonawane, the learned counsel appearing for the PMRDA also indicates that an order shall be passed within 60 days on the application dated 27th January 2026 filed by the petitionerCompany. 4.

In view of the Government Resolution dated 2nd April 2026, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Chief Executive Officer of the PMRDA to take a decision and communicate the same to the petitioner-Company on its application seeking grant of occupancy certificate with respect to the subject buildings at an early date and without awaiting the statutory period of 60 days being lapsed. Having regard to the number of petitions filed in this case raising grievances against the municipal authorities, we would require the Chief Executive Officer of the PMRDA to decide the application of the petitioner-Company for grant of occupancy certificate and for that matter any other application moved before him in accordance with law and having regard to the rules of natural justice. 5.
