CORAM:

N. J. JAMADAR, J.

DATE :

24th APRIL 2026 ORAL ORDER:

1.

Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2.

The challenge in this Petition is to an order dated 2nd April 2026 ARUN RAMCHANDRA SANKPAL passed by the Maharashtra State Waqf Tribunal in Wakf Application No. ARUN RAMCHANDRA SANKPAL Date: 2026.04.27 10:51:09 +0530 45 of 2026, whereby Respondent No.1 - Board has been restrained from passing any final order in File No. 42/209/2025. 3.

The legality and propriety of the said course restraining a statutory body from pronouncing final order, after the matter has been heard and closed for order, appears debatable. ARS 1/2

15-WP-5217-2026.DOC 4.

The parties shall appear before the Tribunal on 30th April 2026. On that day the Tribunal shall pass an appropriate order dealing with the objections of the Applicants in Wakf Application No. 45 of 2026, with regard to the proceedings before the Respondent No.1-Board in File No. 42/2009/2025.
