The last property tax notice issued to the Petitioner is for an amount of Rs.96 Lakhs and odd. The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that Rs.26 Lakhs have already been deposited. He also submits that the Petitioner is willing to deposit an amount which will equal 50% of the last recovery notice, and the property may be de-sealed and the pending representations may be decided together.

In view of the above and considering the law laid down in Shewalkar Developers Limited, Nagpur V/s. Rupee Cooperative Bank Limited, Pune and others, 2016 (1) Mh.L.J. 382, the Petitioner shall deposit a further amount of Rs.26 Lakhs and round of the figure to Rs.50 Lakhs, without prejudice to it's rights and contentions. After such amount is deposited, the Corporation would de-seal the property within 24 hours. The pending representations of the Petitioner shall be decided together, since they are all connected with each other, within a period of 45 days from today by following the due procedure laid down in law.

This order is passed in the peculiar facts and circumstances of this case and shall not be cited as a precedent. 4.
