DATE:
30th APRIL 2026 P.C.:
This writ petition is filed by a person who claims that he is a trustee of Charotar Rukhi Samaj Maha Panchayat Trust, Mumbai. The petitioner states that he was elected as the President to the 4th respondent-Trust for a term starting from the year 2018 to 2021. 2.
In this writ petition, the petitioner seeks to challenge the order dated 11th February 2026 passed by the Assistant Charity Commissioner in Application No. ACC/I/80/2025 whereby the election scheduled for the 4th respondent-Trust has been notified and Mr. Bharat Raghunath Solanki has been directed to conduct the elections.
3.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that suppressing the judgment dated 21st November 2024, a second application was filed by Mr. Bharat Raghunath Solanki and the order dated 11th February 2026 has been passed thereon.
913-WP.5436.2026.doc 4.
This is not in dispute that the elections for the 4th respondentTrust are required to be conducted. Mere a change in the name who shall conduct the elections shall not be a ground to entertain the writ petition. Otherwise also, the present writ petition does not seem to be maintainable.
5.
Writ Petition No. 5436 of 2026 is dismissed.
