The petitioners have challenged the certificate issued under Section 98(b) of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960, in execution of the order passed under Section 88 of the said Act. The record indicates that the substantive appeal against the order imposing personal liability upon the petitioners is pending before the State Government.

It appears that the petitioners have filed four applications seeking expeditious hearing of the appeal and/or applications for grant of interim relief.

In view thereof, the State Government shall decide the applications for interim relief and/or the appeal, as the case may be, within a period of four weeks from today, after giving an
