The learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No. 4 in Writ Petition No. 6076 of 2026 has tendered an Affidavit-in-Reply dated 9th June 2026. The AMOL PREMNATH JADHAV same is taken on record. Respondent No. 4 submits that the said Affidavit-inAMOL PREMNATH JADHAV Date: 2026.06.15 14:31:17 +0530
Reply has also been e-filed. Thereafter, in paragraph 19 of the said Affidavit, he has submitted that Respondent No. 4 is taking all necessary steps including discussion with Sai Trust and St. Mary School to ensure that the academic year of the said English Medium students commences on or around 15th June 2026 or soon thereafter.

The learned Counsel for Respondent No. 4 has also tendered letter dated 10th June 2026, addressed to the Chairperson of the Sai Trust. In the said letter, it is stated that upon due consideration of the foregoing and having regard to the willingness expressed by the said Trust to undertake the responsibility of managing the schools, the Competent Authority of JNPA has accorded in-principle approval, subject to the conditions stipulated in the said letter, for entrusting Sai Trust with the management and operation of the schools mentioned therein which, include Marathi Medium as well as English Medium schools.

Respondent No. 4 has further stated that, they have directed Sai Trust to take immediate and time bound action for operationalisation of the schools and shall ensure the following actions mentioned therein to be taken: (a) deployment of qualified teaching and non-teaching staff on your payroll as per prescribed norms;
(b) maintenance of prescribed teacher-student ratios; (c) readiness and upkeep of educational infrastructure and facilities;
(d) transparent, fair and non-discriminatory admission procedures;
(e) maintenance of proper accounts, records and governance systems;
(f)compliance with child protection, health, hygiene and safety standards;
(g) compliance with labour laws, social security obligations and service regulations applicable to its employees; and (h) adherence to academic standards prescribed by competent authorities.

The learned Counsel for Respondent No. 4, on instructions, states that the academic year 2026-27 in respect of the Marathi and English Medium schools shall commence on or about 15th June 2026. The statement is accepted.

In view thereof, the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners has sought leave to withdraw the Writ Petitions. 6.
Accordingly, leave is granted. The Writ Petitions are disposed as withdrawn.
