We have heard the learned Senior Advocate for the Petitioner, the learned Advocate on behalf of the Pune Zilla Parishad and the learned Additional Government Pleader. 2.

The Petitioner, who is undisputedly a person with disability (right leg amputated above the knee), agrees to join at the place of transfer at Dhamanohol, Taluka Mulshi, in order to Sufiyan Syed - PA

The learned Advocate for the Zilla Parishad submits that the Education Officer (Primary) shall prevail upon the Headmaster of the Zilla Parishad School to forward the proposal of the Petitioner for reconsideration of his request for transfer, since he is undisputedly a disabled person and had not filled in the form seeking transfer on the grounds available to a Person with Disability.

Once such proposal reaches the Zilla Parishad, an appropriate decision shall be taken by following the due procedure laid down in law, and the decision shall be arrived at on or before 15th June, 2026, so as to effect his transfer to a convenient place from the Academic Year 2026-2027.
