It appears that in the audit report submitted by the Auditor, he has held petitioner personally liable for the loss caused to the society. In my opinion, in such a case the remedy for the petitioner is to adopt appropriate proceedings where the petitioner is held liable and not to seek removal of the Auditor. 2.

There is no merit in the writ petition. The writ petition, accordingly, stands dismissed. No costs.
